Dragon ladies update

Now that I have WiFi again, I may actually use this blog. Still, I have so many other social networks, it may not be worth my time. We shall see.

For now, here are some photos of Jem'Hadar the Bearded Dragon! Enjoy!

Spam and Road Trips

My blog was getting spammed like crazy, so I finally added word verification for comments. I hate doing word verification myself, so I thought I'd go easy on my commenters. Well, the spammers ruined it for all of us. Thanks, guys--bots, whatever.

Anywho...in case you haven't seen it, here's the video I edited of one of my many road trips with my Cuddle Bear. Enjoy!

My Chanukah Miracle

Warning: mushy stuff ahead.

I just wanted to share a great joy I experienced this last week. One which continues to bless me. Recently, my Chanukiah (Chanukah menorah) which my Imah (mother) gave to me was accidentally broken. I checked Amazon and a found a beautiful "Walls of Jerusalem" Chanukiah. Unfortunately, I only had a week til Chanukah. I bought it on rush-order and hoped for the best. My heart sank when I discovered the estimated arrival date was December 12th--halfway through Chanukah.

Like a wanderer lost in the desert searching hopelessly and at the same time hopefully for water, I tracked the package every day until Friday. By then, it was in my town! I couldn't believe it! Still, I was worried that my package might remain in the post office for a couple days.

Despite my proficient and professional worrying (really, I should get paid for all my worrying), the package was delivered Saturday afternoon. I waited til dark and tore open the box. The Chanukiah was beautiful!! I have it pictured here. I absolutely love it! I cried. I don't cry tears of joy. But I did this time. I was so happy that I could light a menorah on the first night of Chanukah--and the following nights. I hadn't realized how much it meant to me until it was taken away. Now, it's better than ever.

Baruch HaShem.

Ok. Enough of the mushy stuff. Let's have some donuts and latkes and PARTY!!!

Happy Chanukah and happy holidays, everyone!

My friend Charlotte

Took a little road trip today with my boyfriend (Cuddle Bear) and his friend (Biscuit). We ended up stopping at a visitor's center where I discovered a spider in Biscuit's hair. Being enchanted by spiders as I am, I promptly plucked the spider from his hair and continued playing with it for the next minutes. The spider seemed fine at first, but then it became agitated (or I assume from the increase frenzy of its attempts to escape).  I was getting tired, so I was willing to let the spider go. As I walked over to place it where I thought it would be safe, the spider made a mad leap from my fingers. I searched and searched until, just as I had given it up for lost, it reappeared floating in the air some distance from my hand. Triumphant that I had not lost it (and thus doomed it to the perilous foot traffic of the floor), I proceeded to place the spider.

"Do you have a spider or something?"

At the unexpected voice, I looked up--the spider still dangling from my hand. All four of the desk attendants were staring at me--either from around their computer monitors or standing up to see over them. Awkward.

The spider still dangled from my hand.

Quickly, I flashed a disarming (though slightly embarrassed) smile and explained the situation as I safely deposited the arachnid. One of the attendants complimented me on how kind and calm I was to the spider crawling on me. Should I tell him I am Spider Woman? Neh, I was too embarrassed still. Haha! Anyway, some jokes about "Charlotte" were tossed about, and my friends and I left.

The End.

(I like how rushed that ending is. So...awkward and embarrassed.)

Will Sell for Shoes

I have boxes of stuff to get rid of--some of which is in sellable condition. I got shipping boxes for free from eBay months ago. I just haven't, you know...taken the next step. I think it's about time I did so. Besides, I like money. I especially like having money so I can buy stuff...like shoes. OMG, I love shoes.

Aaaaaaaanyway, I will keep updating about this and will also post links to my merchandise if I ever do get it online. Now, for some entertainment!
